About Me

I’m Alana, the artist behind Nalani Jones and I’m a surface designer who loves to create bold and contemporary designs with captivating color palettes. With a life-long passion for creativity I’m always brimming with ideas of what I can create next. 

My love for art and design started at a young age, as a child I can remember being enthralled with my grandmothers abstract paintings and as a teen I was infamously cutting up my dad’s Rolling Stone magazine collection to create a collage on my bedroom walls. After completing my studies in graphic communication, I spent many years as a graphic designer for a marketing agency but have since committed all my energy into the wonderful world of surface design. 

When I’m not dreaming up a new design project, I enjoy spending time with my children, exercising and eating healthy, snowboarding, learning new things, and spending time in nature. I’m passionate about living a life of authenticity and I believe everyone needs creativity in their life.
